what is new?

14 Jan 2009 New post by Billy!!

Lang may yer lumb reek!

Happy New Year!!! ( slightly late ) and I hope it brings exactly what you wish for (or exactly what you need!). Just wanted to write a quick note as I found another quick note, which I wrote around April this year and forgot to post!

This one should have gone on billyboyd.net (which some of you may have noticed has disappeared from the internet!) this was for no other reason than I felt I wasn’t updating it as much as I should be and therefore it sat there making me feel guilty that I wasn’t updating it and the worry that I wasn’t updating it was taking up so much of my time that I had no time left to update it! It was a vicious circle that resulted in a clean up ( mentally and internetadly ) but billyboyd.net will be back I’m sure.

Anyway here’s the note from April….. Hello everyone just wanted to put pen to paper (or finger to keys!) to say thank you to everyone who sent a card or gift to Jack on his second birthday. I can’t believe how thoughtful and kind you all are. Jack had a great time opening all his gifts, reading the cards and in particular dancing to the musical ones! Everyone who is involved in the BBB and donated to Jack’s grove at Trees for Life, a very special thanks. What a perfect gift for Jack. I can’t tell you how touched Ali and I were to receive such a beautiful and perfectly chosen gift for our boy. I look forward to taking him there one day and watching him climb the highest tree! I will, obviously post photos. Thank you so much again for your gifts and kind wishes and for all your time, energy and support.

So that was April and here we are in Jan 2009. Just finished the Album! That was hard work! But lots of laughs and daftness, I hope you all enjoy the results of our endeavours. Thank you so much for the support you have given Beecake and I promise we will be out playing a lot of shows this year. And for all of you who have been following what I’ve been doing these last few years, thank you so much for your love and support, you have no idea how much it means to me and I promise it won’t be a year till my next note.

Lots of love, Billy X

08 Jan 2009 site stuff

Because I felt I should have improve the site, I've re-made the filmography section. It looks much better know, it's kinda well-arranged, and I also added links to IMDB, gallery and in some cases to Amazon purchase biggrin

However, I found out, that there are lots of albums missing in the gallery, so I'll be the next thing I improve - upload all the missing pictures.

Also, I found on my pc several interesing old articles which I don't remember reading which may appear here, too.

So... stay tuned biggrin

By the way - it's been a month since the board is up and there are altogether 3 active members (including me) from all 6 people. And that's pretty little since there was quite bigger interest, don't you think? wink

07 Jan 2009 IMDB update

I've been browsing thru IMDB and especially thru release dates and I found none of Billy's films. Even though at least the Best Years is supposed to be released in UK somewhen in 2009. So I guess it'll take some time untill we see some new film blank

And also a page for How to Make a Movie disappeared. Any idea if it's still up? confused

But on the other hand, there's finally a IMDB site for Matchstalk Man. It's seems it's not a thriller, as I (? biggrin) thought, but comedy/crimi. Bad. I was looking forward to see Billy in a thriller.

And, ehm, you may have noticed, that Stone of Destiny was release in UK on December 19. Canada has to wait till February 20 wink

31 Dec 2008 Stone of Destiny trailer

For the lack of better news, I have for you Stone of Destiny trailer. I guess there are lot of people who haven't seen it, including me smile

10 Dec 2008 New entertainment

Because I'm totally stupid and instead of studying I'm doing absolutely unnecessary things, I made the forum!!!! Originally, I wanted to launch it during the Christmas, when are no exams, of course smile, but the site is somehow more important than my studies, or what biggrin.

Sorry for the header, it's absolutely awful, but Billy has only stupid useless pics, and I'm lame with photoshop, so I had to improvise, lol. But the header isn't imporant, right? wink

So... I'm expecting all 14 (hopefully more) to join asap cute

30 Nov 2008 site news

The other day, I was wondering how I could make my site better. I'm not really creative person, so I came up with a board. Would you like to have one of these here? Would you use it? Would you be active? I have a poll for you to. To know if I should waste my time and energy on it or not blink.

If you have any other tips for improvement, you HAVE TO let me know, okay? wink
