The festival takes place on April 23-27 and it will present features, documentaries, shorts and student shorts from the U.S. and other countries like Canada, Italy, England, Germany, Israel, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka and India.

Just a heads up.

I heard a rumour some people were going to Tartan week in New York. There was some talk of me hitting the catwalk at this years Dressed to Kilt! Unfortunately due to a clash of dates I'm sad to say it won't be possible this year. For those people thinking of going....it's a great night, I'm sure you'd love it, but sadly you won't see me there.

On a different note, what do you think of the new tracks? I hope you like. We are all looking forward to some gigs soon.

The theme of this year's show is The Colors of Scotland, celebrating the natural beauty and proud heritage of Scotland, and it takes place on March 30 in Manhattan.

Apart from Billy, you'll see also stars like Sir Sean Connery, Brendan Fraser, Andie MacDowell, Brian Cox and many others.

Proceeds from Dressed to Kilt 2009 will again benefit the Paralyzed Veterans of America and its Scottish equivalent, the Erskine Hospital of Scotland, through Friends of Scotland, a non-profit corporation dedicated to advancing contemporary Scottish interests in the United States.

And here's a little confirmation by Bobby that I'm telling you the truth :

I just got back from seeing The Present and I had a blast. I’ve been surfing many times before, but I’m far from a surfer dude, so at times I felt like quite a voyeur. But the movie was shot really beautifully, and guys in the video were doing some amazing stuff with some amazing boards.

I also saw Elijah Wood, Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd there, I had no idea hobbits love to surf! If you get a chance to see the film you should definitely check it out.

Astin up for Hobbit if Hobbit up for him

Sean Astin told SCI FI Wire that he'd be thrilled to reprise his Lord of the Rings film trilogy role as Sam Gamgee in the upcoming big-screen adaptation of The Hobbit. However, because the Rings' beloved quartet of hobbits don't actually appear in The Hobbit, Astin doubts that he'll be asked to appear in the films.

Astin's comments run counter to those of his Rings co-star Dominic Monaghan, who told MTV News in January that he believes that he, Astin, Billy Boyd and Elijah Wood will play some role in the two Hobbit features. The films will be produced by Rings mastermind Peter Jackson and directed by Guillermo del Toro.

Dominic Monaghan said he thinks the hobbits will be in The Hobbit even though they're not in the book. What are your thoughts on the possibility?

Astin: I wouldn't personally expect to be back. Peter knows that he just has to tell me when and where to show up and I'll be there. But I don't know. I don't know. I don't what's going on with that. Everyone would say during the releases of the Rings films, "Oh, will The Hobbit ever get made?" There was all this political stuff. The studio had only certain rights, and they wouldn't do it unless they had all the rights, and they weren't ever going to make a deal with the other company that had the other rights, and blah, blah, blah. I always just said, "You people are out of your minds. Of course it's going to be made, and it'll be great and Peter will do it. And there it is." And they're doing it. So I'm excited. I'm excited to see them. But I personally don't expect them to call me.

Zomg Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan were at Disneyland with Billy's girl and son and sldfjlksjdf they were in the pin store outside Buzz Lightyear and I was right next to Dom, who is hotter in person than I remember and who had a shaved-ish head.

I didn't want to bother them so I pretended not to notice them, and went to Fantasyland to ride Pinocchio.

They were like right behind us. Like a party behind us. So when the line curved around Billy's back/arm were touching my arm, and I was basically looking at Dom. Dom was telling Billy (and probably Jack, the baby/toddler/etc) that if you lie your nose gets big, so Adrien Brody must have been bad or must have "disobeyed" his parents because, "look at his nose." Lulz.

Billy sounded 3000% hotter than I remember him sounding. He was also even smaller than I remembered, which makes sense cause I'm heavier now, but I mean he was even shorter than I remembered, too.

Dom was hot as crap in person and I never even found him that hot. I'd seen him in person once but from a little distance away. Up close? Dang.

Anyway, fate is amazing and crazy and what were the odds I would be here when they were? SO COOL.

I am done now.

Awww, such a lucky girl. I guess they don't wanna see... dunno, e.g. Prague zoo? I'm so jealous!
